About the role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Backend Developer – Node.js with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in backend application development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Node.js and JavaScript, experience building scalable REST APIs, and a solid understanding of PostgreSQL databases.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, deploy and maintain reliable backend services, following industry best practices, coding standards and Agile development methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications using Node.js
• Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs for web and application-based solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable and efficient code following established coding standards
• Work with PostgreSQL databases — database design, SQL queries, indexing and performance optimisation
• Use ORM libraries such as Sequelize or Prisma for efficient database interaction
• Implement authentication and authorisation using technologies such as JWT and OAuth
• Perform API testing and debugging with tools such as Postman
• Use Git and standard branching strategies for source code management
• Take part in code reviews and follow secure coding practices
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, product teams and other stakeholders
• Take part in application deployment and release processes
• Implement logging, monitoring and debugging practices that keep applications reliable
• Follow Agile/Scrum — sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives
• Track work in Jira or a similar issue-tracking tool

About the role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Java Developer with 3–5 years of experience designing, developing and maintaining enterprise applications. You should have strong expertise in Java backend development, RESTful APIs, database design and modern software development practices, and be capable of independently developing features, performing developer testing, debugging issues and delivering production-ready code.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable Java-based applications

We are looking for a dynamic, confident and highly persuasive telecaller with a proven track record in BFSI product sales or B2B inside sales. You will be responsible for outbound calling, lead conversion, demo scheduling and relationship management with financial professionals across India.

The role asks for excellent communication, product understanding, empathy and follow-up discipline. You will be the first voice of Finexa — our AI-powered platform for investment advisors, wealth managers and mutual fund distributors — building long-term trust from the first call through to the sale.

Lead generation & prospect engagement

• Call warm and cold leads — MFDs, IFAs and wealth managers — from campaigns, emails and events
• Pitch Finexa SaaS, highlighting its benefits, key features and AI-powered advantages
• Schedule product demos and see interested leads through to a completed demo
• Follow up diligently on demo-to-sale conversion and track leads in the CRM

Sales fulfilment & onboarding

• Work with the product fulfilment team for seamless onboarding after a sale
• Introduce clients to the activation and support teams for a smooth setup
• Make periodic check-in and satisfaction calls after onboarding

Client relationship & retention

• Maintain long-term relationships through regular interaction and feedback
• Update clients on new features, enhancements and renewal benefits
• Send renewal reminders and follow up on subscription collections
• Encourage referrals and repeat purchases through trust-based engagement

The role

We are seeking an exceptional Project Manager – Custom Fintech Solutions to own end-to-end delivery of bespoke financial technology products across our wealth management, bond market and investor platform verticals. This is not a coordination role — it is a delivery leadership position for someone who has worked at the confluence of financial domain expertise and modern software engineering.

You will lead a cross-functional team of 8+ — frontend engineers, backend engineers, Flutter developers, QA specialists and a business analyst — translating complex financial requirements into production-grade, scalable solutions, on time and within scope. You will report to the CTO / Chief Delivery Officer.

Project leadership & delivery

• Own the full project lifecycle — requirements, sprint planning, UAT, deployment and post-go-live stabilisation
• Deliver bespoke wealth management platforms, bond market solutions and investor-facing products
• Manage parallel workstreams across multiple clients and product lines
• Establish milestone governance, sprint cadence and release readiness checkpoints

Business requirements & documentation

• Lead BRD and FRD/SRS authoring with business analysts, turning client intent into precise technical specifications
• Run deep-dive discovery workshops with BFSI clients to extract, validate and prioritise requirements
• Maintain living documentation that keeps every stakeholder on one source of truth

Team management

• Lead and mentor frontend, backend and Flutter developers, QA engineers and a business analyst
• Allocate resources across sprints and resolve blockers before they become escalations
• Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and technical excellence
• Run 1:1s, performance reviews and structured retrospectives

Stakeholder & client management

• Be the interface between Finlabs leadership, engineering teams and BFSI clients
• Manage expectations transparently — flag risks early and communicate trade-offs
• Deliver executive-level status reporting, dashboards and escalation protocols

Process, quality & governance

• Run sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives with precision
• Build QA cycles, regression testing and UAT into timelines rather than bolting them on
• Own JIRA boards end to end: epics, stories, velocity tracking and burndown analysis
• Enforce change management and scope governance on bespoke builds

What you bring

• 10+ years overall, with at least 5 in BFSI or fintech delivering custom software
• A track record of complex, multi-stakeholder fintech projects delivered on time, budget and scope
• Managing cross-functional engineering teams of 6–10 with accountability for delivery
• Strong BRD/SRS authoring — as comfortable in a client workshop as in backlog grooming
• Exceptional communication: you can brief a CXO and a developer on the same day
• High ownership — you act without waiting for direction
• Fluency with delivery data: velocity charts, risk registers, utilisation dashboards

Bonus points

• Bond market platforms, fixed income digital distribution or algo-driven portfolio tools
• SEBI-regulated platforms, investor education mandates or AMFI-compliant products
• LMS or EdTech platforms in a financial services context
• AI-augmented product development; an MBA, CFA or FRM is an edge, not a requirement
