Sudipto is responsible for providing the overall strategic & management leadership to the Company and is responsible for shaping the company’s vision especially with respect to business strategy, finance, investor relations, business development & new initiatives.
Sudipto has an extensive experience of Indian financial markets with a career spanning over 25 years and having worked in diverse industries such as Financial Planning & Distribution, Asset Management, Life Insurance, Insurance Broking, Equity etc. He has worked across various functions like Product Development, Sales and Marketing, Treasury, Financial Accounting, Operations etc. but more notably has been leading businesses with complete P&L responsibility for over last 10 years. Prior to joining Finlabs, he was the MD at Principal Retirement Advisors Pvt. Ltd. and his previous stints included leadership positions in Principal Pnb Asset management, Principal Insurance Broking, Kotak Life etc.
He is a Chartered Accountant affiliated to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a qualified Cost Accountant.
Nimish leads Finlabs India and is responsible for providing strategic, management & operational leadership to the organization. Apart from his other responsibilities, he is very closely involved in developing the product development, marketing, finance & business development initiatives for the company. With over 12 years of experience in the Financial Services industry including Insurance, Asset Management, Distribution & Investment Advisory, Nimish has worked across diverse functions such as Sales, Business Analysis, Products, and Marketing. Prior to Finlabs India, his previous stints were with Kotak Mahindra Life and Principal Financial Group wherein he successfully led the implementation of various new business and fintech initiatives.
He is a Chemical Engineer and has a Masters in business administration specializing in Finance.
Ajay Mahajan is an experienced banker and financial services professional with over three decades with the financial sector in India. Ajay worked last as the MD & CEO of CARE Ratings Limited. He joined CARE Ratings in 2020 to drive a deep transformation at the company focusing on growth in both the ratings & non-ratings business as well as on re-engineering business processes with a deep penetration of technology including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Ajay started his career with Bank of America in 1990, went on to become the Head of Financial Markets in 1999. Under his leadership the bank also built a 100% NBFC in the country to do primary dealership and credit fixed income businesses. In 2004, Ajay joined YES BANK as a founding member of the top management team and built this greenfield bank from scratch in three critical business areas – Financial Markets, Financial Institutions Group & International Banking and Retail Product Management including tying up with leading insurance players and various wealth management platforms.
In 2008, Ajay was chosen to lead UBS’s foray into Indian banking. This was his second greenfield establishment of a new bank licence in the country. Ajay built the business from scratch to a reasonably profitable one with strong presence in corporate lending, financial markets and credit investments.
Prior to joining CARE, Ajay was with IDFC First Bank where he led a massive transformation of an Infrastructure sector focused NBFC into a universal bank with direct responsibility of building the wholesale bank across – SME to large corporate lending in working capital, term loans, Treasury, Transaction Banking & Government Banking. Besides, he led the challenging task of managing the legacy stressed assets book. Ajay spent 7 years at IDFC Bank, building teams, systems, processes and cutting-edge technologies to support the wholesale bank’s growth.
Ajay has a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from BITS Pilani, an MBA from FMS, Delhi (where he was a gold medalist) and CFA Charter from CFA Institute, USA.
Mr. Bandyopadhyay brings with him an impressive and extensive career, spanning more than three decades in the fields of Insurance, Finance, Investments, and Debt operations. His stellar leadership as the Chairman of the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) from January 2020 to January 2023 resulted in a nearly fourfold increase in PFRDA’s assets under management to ₹9 trillion, an outstanding accomplishment that demonstrates his strategic vision and expertise in navigating financial landscapes.
Prior to his role at PFRDA, Mr. Bandyopadhyay served with distinction at the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), the largest life insurance company in India. Over the course of 35 years, he held several senior positions, including Chief (Investment) and Executive Director (Investment), and served as Managing Director & CEO of LIC Pension Fund, where he was responsible for overseeing its entire operations.
Mr. Bandyopadhyay’s expertise extends beyond insurance and pension fund management. He is an Associate Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and is on the Board of renowned organizations such as Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Ltd, Canara HSBC Life Insurance Company Ltd, India Mortgage Guarantee Company Pvt Ltd & Insecticides (India) Ltd.
Amit Sinha is a seasoned leader with over three decades of transformative impact in India’s capital markets and social security ecosystem. With 34+ years of experience at the intersection of policy, technology, and finance, he has been instrumental in shaping large-scale digital infrastructures in close collaboration with all major financial regulators.
Amit’s leadership journey spans 17 years in CXO-level roles, where he has driven strategic programs aligned with national priorities, led enterprise-wide technology adoption, and guided institutions through complex regulatory and operational landscapes. His role as a permanent invitee to key Board committees reflects his ability to offer trusted counsel on governance, innovation, and stakeholder alignment.
Recognized for his deep industry insight and ability to build consensus across diverse stakeholders, Amit has consistently championed the use of technology as a catalyst for financial inclusion and business growth.
Lalit Vij is a seasoned C-level leader with 30+ years in financial services and insurance. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund and has led strategic roles at Principal Financial Group and Principal Asset Management Pvt. Ltd.
Hands on experience of working with global executive leadership, advising global & regional boards, driving organisation integrations & building CoE’s for global companies. As a board member and frontline leader, he led the efforts to deliver on stakeholders strategic and operational expectations of creating sustainable best in class Global Capability Centre for Principal Financial Group and later on leading the Principal Mutual Fund – India, business. Other leadership engagements include leading start-up efforts and managing interdisciplinary & complex change management efforts with industry leaders such as ExlService and American Express.
Alok is responsible for driving the marketing & branding initiatives for Finlabs India. His key responsibilities include building & strengthening the Finlabs India brand, increasing visibility of our products, alliances with channel partners, sales promotion, etc.
Alok brings in his vast experience in Advertising & Marketing of over 30 years with leading brands like Colgate, Kodak, Garware etc. He has also represented top brands like HUL, P & G, Bayer, etc. for product launches and other key assignments.
Kavita is an Independent Communications and Crisis Specialist advising reputed Indian and MNC brands and global agencies. In addition, she is an Independent Director on the Board of Finlabs India, a new-age fintech company.
Kavita comes with nearly 3 decades in PR & Digital across Ogilvy, Lintas and Weber Shandwick. She served as National President-PR & Digital Marketing Council, Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry from 2020 to 2023.
Kavita is known for her work positioning companies, CEOs and senior management as leaders and change makers in an era of disruption and accelerated transformation. Her expertise in brand building, message development, public education, crisis management using social/traditional media, make her a sought-after senior communications counselor. Kavita is a reputation risk management specialist. She has worked with brands like Philips, Britannia, Cadbury’s, World Gold Council, McDonald’s, ICICI-USAID (ORS Campaign), Unilever (Domex, Lifebuoy), Emirates Airline, Marriott, Wartsila, Sony, Visit Victoria, Etihad Airways, Principal, Siemens, Porsche, Lamborghini, Starbucks, Sun Pharma, Rotary Foundation, HDFC Ergo, Snapchat, Novartis, Duolingo, among others.

A finance post graduate, Kavita is a certified Independent Director from the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs. Kavita topped her batch in Strategic Management, IIM Calcutta. She has done an Advanced Program in Digital Marketing, IAMAI and Transformational Leadership, ISB Hyderabad.
Kavita sings Gurbaani (devotional), Sindhi folk (kalaams), Sufi and Bhajans. Proficient in playing the harmonium and tanpura, she performs at charity events to raise funds.
Rajan Krishnan is an Industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in senior management and leadership positions across different sectors. He started his career in Advertising with stints at Lintas, O&M and other reputed agencies. He then moved to the Asset Management Industry. With close to 2 decades of experience in the Asset Management industry and stints with Kothari Pioneer AMC, Zurich India AMC, Principal Pnb AMC etc Rajan is amongst the first few business leaders who helped shape the industry during its formative years. Rajan was also the MD of the Baroda Pioneer AMC where he helped set up the AMC business.
Rajan is currently the Founder & Director in a web based startup – Retyrsmart Advisory and Support Services (India) Pvt Ltd. The startup is focused on building an online community of older Indians through its portal Retyrsmart.com. This for-profit business is working towards helping older people enrich their retired life.
In an independent capacity, he is also currently in the process of building a practice focused on HR Development through Executive Coaching and Mentoring, especially in the Financial Services space. Rajan is formally qualified as PCC (Professionally Certified Coach) from ICF (International Coach Federation).
Rajan is a graduate from SRCC, Delhi and a PGDBM from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
A Chartered Accountant by profession, He superannuated from HDFC Ltd in 2020 after serving 29 long years. The last position held by him was Senior General Manager – Treasury. He is very well networked with the BFSI sector in Mumbai and has been a regular speaker in various forums/conferences on Securitization, Affordable Housing etc.
After graduating with honour in Economics from Presidency College Calcutta, he did his articleship with PwC (erstwhile Price Waterhouse) and post qualifying as CA continued working with them for almost 4 years mainly in the space of audit of non-profit organisations across India and abroad such as Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Thailand, Cambodia etc.
Prosenjit contributed significantly towards various critical functions of HDFC like Internal Audit, Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, Short & Medium Term Corporate Lending, Structured Finance, Investments, Resource Raising and Treasury Operations etc. Prosenjit was a key member of the team promoting mortgage business in Bangladesh with support from IFC, Washington. He also visited Mauritius as a consultant to Mauritian Housing Company. Under his leadership role HDFC became the top performer in all categories of CLSS (Credit Link Subsidy Scheme) under the PMAY (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) since 2018.
Currently Prosenjit is an advisor to a few entities engaged in Consulting, Risk and Assurance services, Wealth Management, Corporate Turnaround strategies and a start-up who has developed an end-to-end SAS platform for CSR activities. He is also an Independent Director on the board of Innovassynth Technologies Ltd., a high-end chemical research and manufacturing company of the R Raheja Group.
Rajib Chakravorty has more than 25 plus years of experience in Financial Services Business, Risk Management, Target Operating Model, Data Management, Data Strategy, Data Governance, Business Architecture, BI, Analytics, Project Management, Implementation, Design, Development of Data Warehouses. He has successfully consulted and implemented the data strategy and data governance framework for the Global Risk Functions of leading Global banks in line with regulatory requirements/priorities. His assignments involve handholding country teams comprising of CDO (Global Chief Data Officer) and Programme Managers for data definitions, governance, data lineage and other standards to comply BCBS239 requirements. His achievements include the successful launch of first ever Temenos Data warehouse Module for Management Information which is now subscribed by a host of top banks around the world. He has developed the OFSAA (formerly Reveleus) Basel II solution framework, Credit Risk and Transfer Pricing solutions which have become an accepted solution globally for large Tier 1 banks like Citibank, Lloyds Banking Group, Wells Fargo and Indian Banks like Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank. His clients include some of the largest global and regional banks like HSBC, Lloyds Banking Group, RBS, Deutsche Bank, Barclays Capital, Nationwide – UK, African Banking Corporation – Zimbabwe, ICICI Bank-India, OCBC Bank -Singapore and Malaysia, Woori Banking Group- South Korea, Bank Islam – Malaysia, Citi Group, GE Consumer Finance – UK. Rajib is a prominent speaker on BCBS239 Data Management & Liquidity Risk Data Management at conferences across the globe.
Samipendra Chaudhury is the Executive Vice President, Operations at Reworld, a leader in sustainable waste solutions. He leads all of the Central Operations teams including Strategic Sourcing, IT, Lean, Health & Safety, Maintenance, Engineering and Metals.
Mr. Chaudhury has more than 25 years of experience across finance and operations in multiple industry segments. He most recently worked at Nielsen as the CFO for Nielsen Gracenote and their Portfolio Analytics business. In his time at Nielsen, he worked closely with their Operations, Technology, Engineering and Product Development teams.
Previously, Mr. Chaudhury held various operational finance roles of increasing responsibility at General Electric. He also worked as an engineer at Tata Motors in India.
Mr. Chaudhury holds a graduate degree in Engineering and an MBA from SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, India. He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
Mr. Anindya Dutta’s journey through the world of finance is nothing short of extraordinary. Starting his illustrious banking career at Deutsche Bank in India in 1993, Anindya has spent the last 26 years dedicated to building and leading successful businesses on a global scale. Nandip Vaidya is B.Tech. (Mechanical Engineering) from IIT, Mumbai and PGDM from IIM, Ahmedabad. He is member of the CFA Institute, USA (and its Indian counter-part) and Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), USA.
After over 25 years of work experience in financial services and management consulting in India, Prof Vaidya has found his calling in academics. He teaches courses in business analytics and quantitative techniques in Finance at Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce, NMIMS. These courses are part of the NMIMS under-graduate programs of BBA and B.Sc. (Finance) and post-graduate program of M.Sc.(Finance).
Prof Vaidya is the program chair for M.Sc. (Finance) and is also actively involved in curriculum design for all the three programs. While at the NMIMS, he has acquired certification and teaching accreditation from the SAS Institute Inc., USA for Predictive Modelling and Visual Analytics. Data analytics is becoming the backbone for various business decisions including in the domain of Finance and hence the students across the programs ie BBA, B.Sc. (Finance) and M.Sc.(Finance) are exposed to the techniques for data analytics at NMIMS. Prof Vaidya has played an active role in evolving and in consistently delivering this part of the academic curriculum.
A firm believer in experiential and application based learning, Prof Vaidya has found his varied financial services (including consumer lending, life insurance as well as capital markets) and management consulting experience extremely useful in improvising the pedagogy for the courses he teaches.
A research paper by Prof Vaidya on an Empirical Study of Market Timing Abilities of Mutual Fund Managers in India using the Treynor-Mazuy (TM) and Henriksson-Merton (HM) models has been accepted by Finance India for publishing in a forthcoming issue of the journal. He has also presented a paper on examining hypothesized performance of select Indian equity funds by constructing their portfolio using Markowitz mean variance optimization model without changing the underlying securities.
Pradeep Mukerjee works on enhancing organizational and leadership effectiveness. Given his strong business orientation, his specialty is to identify and help build organizational capabilities and supportive organization structures and systems for effective organizational performance; define and implement people strategies that enable business success and develop leadership talent through coaching. Currently, he runs his own firm Confluence Coaching & Consulting and is also a partner at Global HR Lead Partners LLP.
Pradeep has over 31 years of rich corporate experience in India and overseas, having managed an organization as a CEO and having led the human resources function for many years. Pradeep’s experience includes defining and driving a business strategy, enhancing profitability of consulting business, defining organization structures, defining and driving the human resource and people agenda in corporations in the IT and financial services sectors for 19 years, in-depth assessment and development of leadership talent, executive coaching and career counseling, enabling creation of high performing work organizations, facilitating visioning for organizations, re-engineering HR processes, and introducing and managing appropriate interventions for enhancing organizational effectiveness. He has a number of achievements to his credit including pioneering introduction of cafeteria approach to compensation in 1991 in India and introducing sales incentives in the banking industry in the country in 2000.
Pradeep has worked in the Middle East and United States during the course of his career. His last corporate assignment was as CEO of Mercer India Pvt.Ltd., part of the largest global HR Consulting firm. From 2000 to 2007, he headed Human Resource function for all of Citigroup’s different businesses in South Asia covering banking, consumer finance, BPO, KPO, brokerage and technology infrastructure space in ten different legal vehicles. He is also regularly invited to the Indian School of Business (ISB) as an Executive Coach on their leadership program for top managers. He has also designed and developed programs for HR professionals on behalf of Society for Human Resources Management, India.
