Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Notice explains how Finlabs collects, uses and shares information when you use our Learning Management System (LMS) mobile application, Learngenie-Fintech, available on Google Play.
Finlabs India Private Limited (“कंपनी”, “हम”, “हमारा”) की यह गोपनीयता सूचना बताती है कि हमारी सेवाओं (“सेवाएँ”) के उपयोग पर हम आपकी जानकारी कब और क्यों ले सकते हैं, रख सकते हैं, इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं और/या साझा कर सकते हैं (“प्रसंस्करण”) — जैसे कि जब आप:
- हमारा मोबाइल एप्लिकेशन (Learngenie-Fintech) या हमारा कोई अन्य एप्लिकेशन डाउनलोड कर इस्तेमाल करना, जो इस गोपनीयता सूचना से जुड़ा हो

1. हम कौन सी जानकारी लेते हैं?
हम जो निजी जानकारी लेते हैं, उसमें ये शामिल हो सकते हैं:
- नाम
- ईमेल पता
- फ़ोन नंबर
एप्लिकेशन डेटा। यदि आप हमारे एप्लिकेशन इस्तेमाल करते हैं और हमें पहुँच या अनुमति देना चुनते हैं, तो हम निम्नलिखित जानकारी भी ले सकते हैं:
- मोबाइल डिवाइस तक पहुँच। हम आपके मोबाइल डिवाइस की कुछ सुविधाओं तक पहुँच या अनुमति माँग सकते हैं — जिनमें कैमरा, माइक्रोफ़ोन, रिमाइंडर, SMS संदेश, भंडारण और अन्य सुविधाएँ शामिल हैं। यदि आप यह पहुँच या अनुमतियाँ बदलना चाहें, तो अपने डिवाइस की सेटिंग में बदल सकते हैं।
- पुश सूचनाएँ। We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or certain features of the application(s). If you wish to opt out of receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device’s settings.
2. हम आपकी जानकारी का क्या करते हैं?
संक्षेप में: हम आपकी जानकारी का प्रसंस्करण अपनी सेवाएँ देने, सुधारने और चलाने, आपसे संवाद करने, सुरक्षा व धोखाधड़ी रोकने तथा क़ानून का पालन करने के लिए करते हैं। आपकी सहमति से हम इसका उपयोग अन्य उद्देश्यों के लिए भी कर सकते हैं।
आप हमारी सेवाओं से कैसे जुड़ते हैं, उसके अनुसार हम आपकी निजी जानकारी का प्रसंस्करण कई कारणों से करते हैं, जिनमें ये शामिल हैं:
- खाता बनाने और प्रमाणीकरण में मदद करने तथा उपयोगकर्ता खातों के प्रबंधन के लिए। हम आपकी जानकारी का प्रसंस्करण इसलिए कर सकते हैं ताकि आप खाता बना सकें, उसमें लॉग इन कर सकें और आपका खाता चालू हालत में रहे।
- उपयोगकर्ता तक सेवाएँ पहुँचाने और उन्हें सुगम बनाने के लिए। आपकी माँगी गई सेवा देने के लिए हम आपकी जानकारी का प्रसंस्करण कर सकते हैं।
- उपयोगकर्ताओं के बीच संवाद संभव बनाने के लिए। यदि आप हमारी ऐसी कोई सुविधा इस्तेमाल करते हैं जिससे किसी अन्य उपयोगकर्ता से संवाद होता है, तो हम आपकी जानकारी का प्रसंस्करण कर सकते हैं।
- प्रतिक्रिया माँगने के लिए। प्रतिक्रिया माँगने और हमारी सेवाओं के आपके उपयोग के बारे में संपर्क करने के लिए, ज़रूरत पड़ने पर हम आपकी जानकारी का प्रसंस्करण कर सकते हैं।
- अपनी क़ानूनी ज़िम्मेदारियाँ निभाने के लिए। अपनी क़ानूनी ज़िम्मेदारियाँ निभाने, क़ानूनी अनुरोधों का जवाब देने और अपने क़ानूनी अधिकारों का उपयोग, स्थापना या बचाव करने के लिए हम आपकी जानकारी का प्रसंस्करण कर सकते हैं।
4. हम आपकी जानकारी कब तक रखते हैं?
संक्षेप में: इस गोपनीयता सूचना में बताए उद्देश्यों को पूरा करने के लिए जितना ज़रूरी हो, उतने समय तक हम आपकी जानकारी रखते हैं — जब तक क़ानून कुछ और न कहे।
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us to keep your personal information for longer than the period of time in which users have an account with us. In practice we delete or anonymise learning records within 24 months of your account closing, unless your employer or training partner is required to keep a certification record for longer.
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise such information or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
5. हम आपकी जानकारी कैसे सुरक्षित रखते हैं?

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organisational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorised third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, the transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.
6. क्या हम इस सूचना में बदलाव करते हैं?
संक्षेप में: हाँ, संबंधित क़ानूनों के अनुरूप रहने के लिए हम इस सूचना को ज़रूरत के अनुसार अद्यतन करेंगे।
हम समय-समय पर इस गोपनीयता सूचना को अद्यतन कर सकते हैं। अद्यतन संस्करण पर बदली हुई “संशोधित” तिथि दिखेगी, और वह उपलब्ध होते ही प्रभावी हो जाएगा। यदि हम इसमें बड़े बदलाव करते हैं, तो उसकी सूचना प्रमुखता से प्रकाशित कर या सीधे आपको भेजकर बता सकते हैं। हम आपसे आग्रह करते हैं कि इस सूचना को समय-समय पर देखते रहें, ताकि आपको पता रहे कि हम आपकी जानकारी की रक्षा कैसे कर रहे हैं।

8. Your rights over your data
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- Show you a summary of the personal data we hold about you and what we do with it
- Correct anything inaccurate, or complete anything missing
- Erase data we no longer need, or that you have withdrawn consent for
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become incapable of doing so
ईमेल privacy@finlabsindia.com with “Data rights request” in the subject line. We reply to the address you wrote from, so we know the request is yours. We acknowledge every request within 7 days and answer it within 30 days, at no charge. You can also turn off push notifications in your device settings at any time.
9. Children
Learngenie is used in schools and training programmes, so some learners are under 18. Where that is the case, we process a child’s data only after verifiable parental consent has been obtained — usually by the school, employer or programme partner that enrols them, acting on our instructions.
We do not track children for advertising, we do not build behavioural profiles of them, and we do not use their data for anything beyond delivering and recording their learning. If you believe a child’s data has been collected without that consent, email privacy@finlabsindia.com and we will delete it.
10. Complaints
If something about your personal data is not right, tell our Grievance Officer at privacy@finlabsindia.com. We acknowledge complaints promptly and resolve them within 90 days. If we have not resolved yours, you may take it to the Data Protection Board of India.
